Things are larger than life on a tropical isle where wild animals rule, until a marooned human arrives in the midst of a furious storm and their lives are forever changed.
On a tiny exotic island, Tuesday, an outgoing parrot, lives with his quirky animal friends in paradise. After a violent storm, Tuesday and his friends wake up to find a strange creature on the beach: Robinson Crusoe. Slowly but surely, they all start living together in harmony, until one day, when their comfortable life is overturned by two savage cats. A battle ensues between the cats and the group of friends but Crusoe and the animals soon discover the true power of friendship up against all odds (even savage cats).
You have probably heard the legendary tale of Robinson Crusoe before, but not told by the unique perspective of his larger than life parrot, Tuesday. This family-friendly movie features a hilarious group of animal friends in a story of survival.
Tuesday can’t stop dreaming about discovering the world beyond his tiny exotic island. After a strong storm, the outgoing parrot and his friends find a strange human being on the beach, Robinson Crusoe.
Tuesday views the encounter as an opportunity to fulfil his dreams of a life off the island and explore new lands. Crusoe soon realises he needs the help of Tuesday and the other animals if he is going to have any chance of surviving on the island.
This animation comes from the creators of Sammy 1 and 2, and The House of Magic. It’s predicted to be a re-imagined classic for your children.
Robinson Crusoe is showing for a limited two-week time period only and will be released in cinemas from Saturday 29 October 2016. See it in cinemas everywhere.
