Responsibilities federal marshal Mary Shannon is to help protect the witnesses accepted to change the name , into a new life in the American Southwest . These people of different identities , has career criminals , clever liar, a murderer , more unfortunate victims and innocent people happen to have witnessed the crime occurred. Although the identity of these kinds of people , but has its common: they have severed all ties with the past , changes in lifestyle , family and friends abandoned lover , more importantly, there are people who want to kill them .

Mary impatient popular character , but vowed to protect all witnesses in the end . Unfortunately, these newcomers to new residents not only no law-abiding , prompting Mary stomp the gas .
